Richard Barden
I have been a member of the club since 2007 and have been on the Management Committee for a few years. At present, I am mainly involved with the Club’s Marketing and Logistics. I am also a local resident and help with the local Residents Association. The connection between the club and the local residents is important, and we hope it will continue for many years to come.

Jenny Bryan
I have been a GTC member for over 15 years and have met some great people to play tennis with. My lunchtime lesson is ‘my treat of the week’ as it gets me out of my office and into the fresh air, rain or shine. This is my second year on the Management Committee and my focus is on Communication – helping to keep members up to date with everything that’s going on.

Peter Crouch
I have been a GTC member for over 37 years and made some very good friends here. I’ve been on the Committee and a Trustee for over 35 years. It’s a great community and quite diversified. Members are friendly, tolerant and work well together. I’m a past Chairman and past Treasurer as well as being active in the local Residents Association and I enjoy the strong sense of community we have here.

Jack Eatherley
I have lived in London for the last 15 years and my young family moved on to the Triangle in 2016. I currently work in the Sky Sports Strategy Team with a strong focus on raising grassroots participation in sports. I am currently the men’s 1st team captain and help keep the Singles Ladder up and running. It’s a pleasure to have joined the committee in 2021.

Malcolm Jenkin
I succeeded a much-respected and the experienced Secretary of the Management Committee in 2017 after having received from her a thorough briefing on the role. So, no excuses for not knowing what was involved! I’ve been a local resident since 1996 and really value the Club’s importance in bringing the community together. I’m a ‘born again’ beginner at tennis, not having played regularly since school. I’ve enjoyed being coached back into the game and the social and sporting attractions on offer at the Club.

Robert Underwood and Philip Foderingham
We’ve been friends since school and share an interest in all things mechanical and DIY, and we both love to be helpful! Philip is good on the technical side, having worked for Post Office Telephones and as a School Keeper for the ILEA. For a time, I ran my own building firm, and part of my OU degree was in electronics and electro magnets.

We joined the table tennis section two years ago, and we love being members for both the friendship we have found and the excellent facilities. We job share the Maintenance role for the club and, wherever possible, we complete tasks ourselves. We also advise on bigger jobs so the Committee can make informed decisions about the care of our great club.

Philippa Wallbank
I have been a member at Gunnersbury since 2007. I turned up at the open day and joined then and there, due to being made to feel so welcome. I am currently Chair of the Tennis Section and have in the past captained teams, organised the tournaments and served on the Tennis Committee. I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the social nature of the club – I always look forward to a drink at the bar after my game of tennis!
