Help GTC raise funds when you shop online – at no extra cost

Gunnersbury Triangle Sports Club is now registered with easyfundraising.org.uk to enable all its friends to raise funds for the Club when they buy online at over 4500 shops and services. These include big names such as Amazon, M&S, Booking.com, JD Sports and Argos.

Easyfundraising.org.uk is a charity fundraising site that turns your everyday online shopping into donations. Registering is free, and participating retailers will automatically donate to the Club when you make an online purchase. Donations vary between retailers – generally 2%-5% of what you spend. Some insurance and mobile retailers pay a substantial one-off donation of up to £50.

Signing up with easyfundraising.org.uk only takes a few minutes and costs you nothing. You can also download the easyfundraising App for mobile phone or tablet.

If you have a laptop or desktop, you can download Donation Reminder on to your toolbar from the easyfundraising.org.uk website to alert you when you are shopping with a retailer that donates.

Please sign up at easyfundraising.org.uk and select Gunnersbury Triangle Sports Club as your chosen cause.

Further updates

It is so exciting to be able to play tennis again and the glorious weather that we have had recently means that Gunnersbury Triangle is more attractive than ever.  Do come and enjoy it whilst the weather lasts. This is still England after all and the sunshine could disappear at any moment!

If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, please use the ClubSpark link you were sent in April so you can come and join those who are already enjoying being back on court.  As previously outlined, you can book courts for up to 2 hours per session through ClubSpark.

A reminder of our visitor policy:

As a member you may invite guests/visitors to play at the Club up to 6 (six) times but you must accompany them.  The same visitor can play up to 3 (three) occasions per subscription year, after which he/she will be encouraged to join. This applies to all sport sections of the Club.

If an existing member wishes to bring a guest, then they should log this on the visitor sheet which is located on the shelf above the ball box.  The visitor’s fee (£5 per person) should be posted in the box underneath the floodlights box.

When using the courts, please continue to follow the LTA social distancing and hygiene guidance.

Many of you have asked what we are doing about tennis subscriptions and this will be top of the agenda at the next meeting of the Management Committee on 2 June.  I hope to be able to communicate the way forward shortly thereafter.

Social, table tennis, karate and snooker membership fees will be announced once we are able to open the clubhouse.
